Originally from Sardegna, Giovanni Mesina relocated to the hills of Umbria to continue the family tradition of farming sheep, producing milk, cheese, wool, and pasture-raised meat. While his wines were previously made for home consumption, Giovanni released his first vintage to the public in 2017.
il Trebbiozzo is a 100% Trebbiano pet-nat with a partial primary fermentation in an open top tank before aging in fiberglass until bottling; natural re-fermentation with must occurs in the bottle. No sulfur added.
