Known for selective harvest, Marcel Lapierre waits until the last possible moment to pick the ripest fruit to create detailed, precise wines. After rigorous sorting of the grapes, Lapierre's Morgon sees whole cluster fermentation with native yeasts that lasts for 10-20 days when all is said and done. After aging on the lees in old Burgundy barrels, the wine is bottled unfiltered. Powerful yet balanced!
