Cantina Marilina's "Sikelè" is grown on Limestone and sees a 13-hour maceration before it is aged in concrete tanks for 6 months and another 3 months in bottle. This wine is unfiltered, unfined and delicious. Sunshine in a bottle. Perfect for porch drinking on a warm day.
Angelo Paternò handed over his vineyard near Pachino to his daughters, Marilina and Federica but still helps them out in the cellar. The sisters grow organically and use strict minimal intervention and additives in the cellar. They are inspired by local natural winemaking master, Frank Cornelissen. Their philosophy follows exactly what we love to support here at Golden Age, respect for the earth.
