Vines have always been in Maria Berucci's family. In 2009, Maria and her brother decided it was time to revive their family roots and produce some wine. Their first wine was this l'Onda. "L'Onda" translates to "The Wave" which refers to Maria being the new wave of the family and making wines in her own way. It is aged for 18 months in neutral barrels and then aged a little while longer in bottles before release. Maria's vineyards are made up of rocky limestone with lots of clay.
