Located in the north-facing parcel of the lieu-dit La Folie, Alex Foillard's Brouilly is made up of 50-year-old vines grown in granite, under a thin layer of soil. Fermentation takes place in a concrete tank for 21 days with pumpovers once a day for the first three days. The Brouilly is aged 50% in concrete tank, 50% in barrels for 6 months with no fining or filtering. Wine is aged in bottle for 6 months.
